Quiet’s founders based the business on a new robotic technology and built all the required software intelligence to allow customers to share the warehouse resource.

Once an order is placed, one of our robots goes to the storage pod containing the purchased item (for multi-item purchases, several robots go to several storage pods). Next, the robot picks up the storage pod and brings it to a stationary picker, who picks up to 20 orders at a time. Once all of the items from an order are picked, they are sent to a pack station, where an associate trained on that brand’s packing requirements folds, packages and ships the order.

The combination of error-free robots and highly trained associates ensures that orders are shipped right the first time, every time.
